Yeah you heard right!
It was planned that i go back to Osaka in May and it still is. Meanwhile i decided yesterday morning at around 4am in the morning that i want to go to Osaka to see my girl.
Well i didn’t think much about it and just did the necessary things:
I checked with my work if it’s ok to take 3 days off: OK
Asked my girl if she has some free time: OK
Bought a ticket: OK
Checked my bank account ( yes, after buying the ticket ): Hmmmm should be ok

So to make it short, today after my nightshift, i go home… relax and take the train to the airport at 11am.
Plane will take off around 14:40h from Zürich to Dubai.
After a short stop in Dubai ( almost 4hours ) i’ll take a plane to osaka.
Costs of the flight ticket: 1074CHF all incl.
Costs of hotel or similar: Free!!! Haha, it helps to have a girl with her own apartment
Costs of living: Hmmmm, mainly spending cash for booze when i will be drinking with my friends at my fav. bar in amerikamura. ~400CHF

I’m so f***ing happy right now about my little unplanned trip to see my girl and friends that i could jump up and down the whole night

Hi everybody,

i won’t talk about my lack of updates, no excuses.
In 3 days i will be back home in switzerland after almost 5months in japan. It’s feels good to know going back home but at the same time i don’t know anymore where my home is.
Since i moved to osaka 1 month ago i think i started to experience more of the “real” japan, travelling to the countryside, meeting tons and tons of japanese people and spending time with my lovely girlfriend kyoko.

I will miss everything, it’s really tough for me right now. That’s life and i will deal with it.

So, i promise to write about all my experiences the past few months once i’m back in switzerland and survived the probably coming little depression

Sorry everybody for the lack of updates…

I was not in blogging mood at all.. and i still aren’t right now.
I keep my facebook updated with pictures and comments etc. so i don’t feel the need to update my blog, especially uploading pictures is a pain in the A**.

Well, now for the short update:

My school is over, that means i already stayed 3 months here. I’m living in my own apartment in Sangenjaya, near Shibuya since 20.September and i like it. FREEDOM!

What else… i got a new phone, Panasonic P822. Also a prepaid phone from softbank but a pretty decent one.
I met a lot of nice people the last few weeks since my update, espacially a nice girl from Osaka… during my short trip in the south region of japan.
So yes, i have a new girlfriend, down in osaka…

Soooo i’m not going to stay in tokyo, girlfriend or not, i move to osaka on the 19th October and stay till 26th November if everything converges like i wish

Oh holy shit, i almmost forgot!!!!! I got a bike, a foldable chevy bike. How nice is that!?

Ok i’m done for a while… i’ll try to update my blog next week.

My time living in a hotel in ikebukuro and enjoying holidays are coming to an end.
Tomorrow 17:00h i will meet my host-family at kajigaya station. I will live in kawasaki the next 3 months if everything goes right. Kawasaki is divided into 7 districts. I will live in the takatsu district.
Kawasaki is located 19min away from Shibuya on the tokyo-den-entoshi line. I’m quite happy to live near shibuya

My travel time to school will be around 40 minutes that’s not bad at all. I heard that it’s possible to have up to 1 hour and 30 minutes travel time, one-way, to the school.

Nice post title huh?

About the food: I love japanese food, there’s nothing i can do against it. Of course i don’t like everything but i found way too much kind of food i like here.
From today i will start a new food-serie. I’ll post everytime a photo of the restaurant from the outside and one or two pictures of the meal.

On the first picture it’s japanese curry with vegetables. Eaten at Curry House C&C next to the West Exit of Ikebukuro Station.
2nd picture: Kotsuteri (こつてり) ramen. Ate that 6.30am sunday morning. I have no idea about the name of the restaurant. It’s on the opposite side of the street from Bar Mania in Roppongi.

The last few days i was struggling getting a nihon keitai…
Softbank sells the best prepaid phones so far, that’s why i tried to get one of them. No luck for me and everyone else because softbank’s prepaid phones are sold out everywhere
Saturday i felt a bit down because i still wasn’t able to get a phone but neko never gives up and tried the store in omotesando. They have english speaking staff and all are very friendly.
Same story here “almost” : we’re sorry but it’s sold out, did he say to me. BUT you can get a prepaid usim-card and order the prepaid phone. We call you when your phone arrives at our store.

Oh and no need for an ARC ( Alien registration Card ) I showed them my passport, Confirmation Letter of the School and explained that i will extend my current “visa” from 90 days to 180 days.

and finally a few words about the parties:
Friday i wanted to go to Club Atom. Well i went there but couldn’t enter because i was wearing 3/4 pants…
Big turn-off. I took the train back to ikebukuro and stayed at the hotel drinking chu-hi.
Saturday i met with Yuki-chan in roppongi, Bar Mania.
bar-Mania is definitely my favorite bar in Roppongi. The Bar-staff and the boss are very cool and easy. The music is ok.
Yuki had to leave around 22:00h so i went to Club Flower. 1000Yen entrance fee with 2 drinks. I had already a nice party at club flower last year but this time it was boring. Only Hip-Hop and RnB at both floors… and 90% of the crowd: GUYS
So went back to Bar Mania and stayed the night there. Met a lot of nice people: Eddie Murphy (the real one i swear!), Watanabe-kun ( the japanese Silent Bob ), Chihiro ( sweet girl… i called her “aho” that means “stupid”. She had a funny looking strain of hair and i was thinking you call that “aho”… don’t ask me why.
Oh and there was Mister Rob! Polska Power It’s cool to meet someone who is also interested in photography. I think i could learn a lot from Rob, he has done some awesome photos.

Hi all,

I’ll make it short: I’m alive, i had troubles with the flight zuerich->london, london->narita, the result: i don’t have my suitcase… add to all this “no sleep” during the flight, a lot of wine and therefore a bad jet-lag

So tonight i stay at the hotel, watch tv and go sleep early. That way i hope to be more or less OK for friday.

Something weird i noticed… i feel a bit like i’m back home LOL. I know i’m not japanese, neither do i speak japanese (yet) but i feel comfortable around here… like i said: weird.

Anyway, i took some notes during the flight on my ipod touch, i’ll post them tomorrow

I’m lost, confused, stressed, anxious, happy, excited, nervous. A bit of everything at the moment.
It will be the first time i leave my country alone for a 5months stay in another country…

Maybe i worry because it’s a new experience for me but i shouldn’t… i know. I have a lof of friends over there already who told me they will be glad to help me if i have any kind of troubles. Lucky me hehe

Well i don’t think i have time to write something new on my blog until i’m in japan, maybe at the airport in London when i wait for my flight to tokyo.

Well it was of course too short, only 7 days. Damn. Better than nothing ne?

So from now on 3 months left and i will be in the land of the rising sun! Yatta~

Today nothing interesting to report, a lot of work and no time for something else…

OH I ALMOST FORGOT: I ordered a few new cd’s from amazon.co.jp Muahahaha, just a few…

Wow, has been a long time since my last holdays… that was in october last year.

Well as of lately don’t expect too much updates the next few days. My girl will be here from 20th march till 27th march.
