Japan news later - time for some music

Posted by neko under J-Trance, Trance/House

Hello minasan,

i decided to give me a bit more time to recover from my 2 and a half week japan holidays until i post some stories, videos and pictures… my heart is still broken… :)

So, i bought a lot of trance/techno/rave compilations in japan and i want to share them with you!
I’m setting up a poll running until 25th october. So you decide which one you want to have first ;) The choices in the poll are not the only cd’s i bought but for now the only ones that i have already ripped. The rest of the compilations are still on their way to switzerland ;)

Which compilation do you want first

Ceatec, Hana no mae, Karaoke and Pink Party

Yes! this is what i did on the 6th with my friends.

Our crew for this wonderful day:
Niko (of course)
Yusuke
Sayaka
Ashpi
and another friend of yusuke (gomen ne, i don’t remember his name)

So our day started with Ceatec @Makuhari-Messe. 45min train ride away from Ueno station :)
Ceatec was nice, nothing special but nice. We got a lot of both babe photos. Muahahaha.
Ceatec was divided into 3 Halls. The first was all about Screens, Tv’s and some Mobile phones.
2nd hall only mobile phone stuff, hard and software. Finally the 3rd hall as about micro-chips, semi-conductors and stuff like that, pretty boring.

Ceatec over, we move back to tokyo city -> Shinjuku for some sightseeing. Sayaka, our tokyo expert, brought us along to the Tokyo Government building where we were able to go to the 45th floor for some nice city viewing by night. The view from there was wonderful.

Suddenly we got hungry, after walking around for a while we decided to go to an izakaya, with a private room. That was a fantastic idea! :D You can enjoy dinner and drinking with your friends without beeing bothered by other customers. The izakaya we went to is called “Hana no mae” -> Dancing flower. Prices are ok and you can order a lot of different food so there is something for everyone. I ate whale for the first time!!!!!!!!! oishi neeeeeeeeee.

About 3 hours later, we decided to go to a karaoke :) :) We sang stuff like “Thunderstruck”, “DJ Ozma”, “Koda Kumi - Cutie Honey”, ” Dragonball Theme song” and so on, pretty funny. 1h flew away and it was time o move over to Azabu Juban for “Pinku party” :)

For more infos about the pink party held at club “Warehouse” go to Cyberjapan.
The pictures of those events will come soon, the prob is my notebook is slow and it takes a lot of time to resize and upload them… maybe tomorrow i’ll have some more time left since we have no planned things so far.

Bye bye kyoto/osaka… gogo tokyo

Posted by neko under General, Sightseeing

Hisashiburi ne ^^
yeah yeah i know i don’t write enough about my crazy little trip with niko in the land of the rising sun… gomen ne

i’ll make it short, after we recovered on monday from that holy shit of an OMG weekend, we went sightseeing on tuesday.
Kyoto has a lot of temples and shrines everywhere. I was very surprised, all the things we visited were still in a near perfect shape. The japanese really do care about their cultural monuments.
A little list of what we visited in kyoto:

  • Kinkakuji (Golden temple)
  • Jishu-jinja shrine
  • Yasaka-jinja shrine
  • Yasaka pagoda
  • Kenninji temple
  • Higashi-Honganji temple
  • Imperial palace (but it was closed or we didn’t found the entrance) :)
  • Fushimiinaritaisya shrine ( red gates aligned along a path up to the Inari yama )

As you can see we visited a lot of stuff ^^ not only party and drinking… haha

Wednesday we went to Nara. A great little city, took us over an hour to get there from Inari because we went into a Local train and not an rapid or express train… :D
Nara is famous for it’s gigantesque Deer Park and YES it is beautiful.
Watch out for the deers LOL they are a bit aggressive when you feed them. It was funny watching school girls feeding the deers and ran away crying “taskette, taskette!” HAHAHAAH
Located in Nara park too are some pagodas, temples and shrines. We visited the most famous one “Todaiji Temple”. Very impressive, i’ve never seen a temple that big.

Awwww i’m getting tired of writing LOL…

On Thursday we went to osaka and some friends showed us around. Of course we went to the Osaka castle, then dotonbori and amerika-mura. I had a very nice impression of this city. Need to return to osaka. Kyoto is a totally different city, i don’t know what it is but Osaka has some little magic.

Yes i’m finished now, but not yet ready for posting the pictures… choto matte kudasai ne ;)

Oh and today we took the shinkansen “Hikari” to tokyo. Our trip in kyoto/osaka is now already over but i can’t complain, we are staying for 11 days now in tokyo :D :D :D

K, i’m off. Photos will follow a bit later.

Kyoto: Party on sunday?

Posted by neko under Bars and Clubs, Clubbing in Kyoto, J-Girls

2nd paati in kyoto, damn it was already the 3rd party, S&D again.
So i was hoping to have the usual mix of 2nd floor “Hip-Hop/RnB” and downstairs “All styles”…
Urusai!!!!!!!!! not on a sunday, it was a party called Sound Massacre “Hip-Hop” only.

I didn’t expect a very different crowd than usual, i was very wrong.
Sam and Dave is a bit a gaijin “club” but as i could see on sunday it turns to be an almost 98% JP guys/girls club.  All “wannabe”  jp-gangstas / chikas and  other things gather all together for Sound Massacre :)

Other crowd other style of party…

Jp-gangstas tried to get the girls away as soon as they saw a “gaijin” was dancing/flirting with tem. BIGLOL
Anyway, niko and me had fun and went back to the ryokan at 7am after eating some of the most delicious pork-ramen ever made by mankind!!!!!!!! oishii neeeeee~ yaaaaaaay~

at last, some photos of the Sound Masacre Party, enjoy.

S&D Logoneko with 2 sweet girlsniko, neko and a giirrrlll

group photoparty gaijin’s the 3rd shotneko with his 2 new girls LOL

Ok next post gonna be about the sightseeing trip we did today (tuesday)
